Francesco Gallo Garzia lives in Rome where he writes about film and literature for the Ansa news agency. He has written essays on art and philosophy for various magazines over the years. 

In 1978 he held an exhibition of drawings and collages at the Maldoror Bookshop - Gallery on Via di Parione, and in 1984 he translated and edited the first edition of J. C. Lavater's Physiognomic Fragments .

 In 2016 he published 'Disposable Engravings,' a collection of lineographs.
